POLICE NEWS: 3rd suspect arrested in double homicide in Hearne

Thursday, November 20, 2008

By Erin Quinn

Tribune-Herald staff writer

A 26-year-old Waco man was being held in lieu of $1.5 million bond Wednesday in the McLennan County Jail on a capital murder charge in a double homicide last month.

Derrick Bible, who was arrested by the Waco Police Department Tuesday night, is one of three Waco men charged in the Oct. 25 shooting deaths of Hearne residents Chandell Demarcus Lewis, 22, and Harry Willie Monson, 50, at a residence in the Robertson County community. Both victims were shot multiple times, Hearne police have said.

D’nard Anderson and Dameon Chamar Laws, both 21, were arrested earlier this month in the shootings. Anderson was extradited to the Robertson County Jail, where he was being held Wednesday in lieu of $1 million bond on a capital murder charge.

Laws also remained in the McLennan County Jail on Wednesday, in lieu of $1.6 million bond. He was held on a capital murder charge in the Hearne killing and on two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in an Aug. 1 shooting in Waco.

Wake up, people!!!! What we have here is a fine example of "Species Preservation" in a distant armpit of a town outlying Slaughterhouse Waco. See, the more that these good-for-nothing gang-banger-type THUGS knock each other off, the better it is for the of the entire human species.

TO JOYCE:
All OF THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED, BY CALLING THE SUSPECTS THUGS IS JUST WRONG, CHANDELL PROBABLY WAS A GOOD PERSON BUT FOR THEM TO GO TO HIM OBVIOUSLY HE WAS DOING SOME THUGGISH THINGS AS WELL. SO IN MY BOOK THEY WERE ALL THUGS EVEN THE DEAD.

I want to say I agree what you are saing and I read all what syou say but you know every action has a consequence and yeah maybe killing these two men could have been avoided but you dont know what happened just like I dont so GOD just doesnt love the Lewis family, He also Loves the Anderson,Bible and Laws Family.
It seem like all this was was a bunch of PARTTIME Gangsters dont have nothing else to do with there time because none of the men mentioned in the news letter is innocent not even the dead men. The choices they choose lead to there death thes choices that the Men jailed let to them being in jail so they all have written there own FURTURE and must pay for what they have done so I say To ALL the families involed keep your head up and NEVER stop PRAYING.LET GO AND LET GOD

God Blessed all the families and friends that have been affected by these young men actions. Let this be a message to other young men(woman) Black or White stop the killings you are not just harming that person(s)but you hurt their family and friends as well as your own and yourself. Look where they are now and there is nothing nobody but God can do for them. They have put their families in a bad situtation. Its a terrible shame that they will have to spend the rest of their lives before bars or maybe the death penalty and for what something that could have been avoided. The lives of the men that were lost are lost forever, they took what can not be replaced. When and if you should ever get that mad that killing even cross your mind STOP,THINK,AND PRAY. REMEMBER:THY SHALL NOT KILL!!!! All parties are in my prays. To the Lewis family hold your heads up God loves you and he know exactly what you are going through.
Hearne,Tx
