Hewitt police continued to investigate Sunday what caused a man to drive his pickup into a woman’s house Saturday evening.
Police say about 6:25 p.m., a man, about 50 years old, drove a charcoal-colored 2009 Toyota pickup into a house in the 900 block of Sierra Slope Drive in Hewitt.
The home’s owner was present at the time of the accident but was not injured, a Hewitt Police Department spokeswoman said.
Hewitt police have not identified the pickup’s driver but said in a press release his injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
It is unknown if the man was taken to a hospital. A police spokeswoman could not say late Sunday whether the driver was cited in the incident.

What's the point of notifying Waco of an event .. when the person reporting doesn't have all of the information? Waste of paper.
