Everybody knows that Ted Kennedy and Barack Obama want to force American families into unarmed, helpless victimization by forbidding citizens the right to self-defense.

And I suspect that, other than the 50-some million Americans who enjoy the $60 billion human abuse industry of porn, most conscientious people agree with me that it is repugnant and sinful and a surefire recipe for ruined lives.

But hey, live it up, America, for clearly, freedom of choice is the American way.

Have at it.

This wonderful melting pot of cultures, and in many instances, the abandonment of anything cultural whatsoever has been the wildly diverse American Dream forever.

Mostly, I like it. I certainly am not pompous enough to ever attempt to shut Michael Moore up. Rather, I support his right to speak his mind (I think that's what that is) by speaking mine as I point out the inaccuracies and hypocrisy of his nondocumentaries.

Just good information

I don't want to muzzle anyone. I like when the Dixie Chicks speak up. It better identifies who they are and what they believe in. This is good information to know about anyone and everyone.

I want to know, and often, in the case of politicians and media pundits, I need to know. I sure don't want to align myself with people who hate America and freedom. Keep talking, baby.

I went to a stunning Richard Pryor concert once in Miami. I never laughed so hard in all my life, until I saw hyper-irreverent comedian Sam Kinison go for the humor jugular.

Both performances were laced with the wildest of street-slang vulgarity and verbiage deep into the realm of racism and violence. Like all their live performances, both concerts were sold out far in advance, the hordes of paying customers more than aware of what they were getting into, and the belly-aching, tear-jerking hysterical laughter was universal.

Surely they were the masters of irreverence, and quite possibly the funniest human beings who ever lived.

You bet people were repulsed, personally insulted and shocked and dismayed at the content and delivery of these comedic geniuses. Me? I laughed uncontrollably. It was beautiful. Humor is where you find it.

Passion that's scary

During my gravity-defying musical career, the intensity, ferocity and sexual energy of my shows always have kept the faint of heart at a distance.

Lots of people are scared to death of such passion, spirit and uncompromising rhythm-and-blues-infested hyper rock-'n'-roll. The bombastic volume alone causes wimps to scatter like cockroaches under a spotlight.

Why do you think God made folk music and country-and-western? Surely the mild-mannered need a soundtrack, too. I am all for it.

For more than seven years, during the crescendo of my nightly rockouts, I have been railing against the left-wing socialist Democrats with gestures of outrageous defiance. I employ street slang in gung ho celebrations of certain U.S. Constitutionally guaranteed and God-given rights. I pay tribute to the hero warriors of the U.S. military who so bravely volunteer to sacrifice their lives in this dreadful war on terror.

I do it night after night. We are talking nearly 500 concerts doing so. With the advent of YouTube technology, video of this standard-operating Nugent concert procedure can and does go worldwide, as the cockroaches scramble helter skelter.

As universal as the joyful laughter is at my concerts every night is the condemnation symphony from the holier-than-thou intolerants. Tsk, tsk.

Attempting to explain my wonderful, over-the-top rock-'n'-roll show to someone committed to resist would be like explaining an orgasm to a gelding. Nevermind. Drive safely.

I apologize for nothing. I rock. I stand. I celebrate freedom as long as no laws are broken and no one gets hurt.

I've never made threats against anyone.

I've had the most enjoyable, gratifying tour of my life in 2007. Next I will celebrate the other perfect part of my life and go hunting across America. Now they can hate me for that. Precious.
