It's past time we embrace common values, virtues

God gave man a soul, a powerful, instinctual moral and intellectual True North compass, something that completely differentiates us from all other living creatures.
Animals stomp, kill and eat each other, even their own, to survive. Man has the power of reason, of calculation, of dreaming. Man can choose to do good.
Respecting the gift of life and the power of responsible choice, man can pursue complete happiness while being a positive force for all things.
When man experiences personal benefits from wrong choices at the expense of others and the environment, he has lost his soul.
His misdeeds will eventually catch up with him. In the meantime, the majority of good people will be forced to perform damage control.
That is the feeble and pathetic condition of soullessness. All mankind should fight and strive to banish those who so callously disregard the good of others. Apathy shows no soul.
n It is soulless to purchase blingbling, tobacco, booze and more, then claim that you can't afford a sandwich and an apple for your kid's school lunch — then to ask the government to waste some more tax dollars on your so-called needs.
n It is soulless, Ted Kennedy, to forbid a good citizen the right to carry a gun for self protection while you charge that citizen/subject to pay for your armed security detail.
n You have no soul, Barack Obama, to borrow a page from Mao Tse-Tung to "take those profits . . ." from an American corporation and redistribute it to your blingbling-infested, irresponsible constituents.
n Your soul is clearly gone, Hillary Clinton, if policies you promote cause people to walk past numerous "help wanted" signs on the way to pick up their welfare checks.
n It is soulless to partake in a court system that continually paroles and plea-bargains child molesters back into America's neighborhoods.
n Supporting the obscene practice of taxing families' after-tax savings upon death proves you have no soul.
n To intentionally poison oneself with tobacco, alcohol, drugs and enough junk food to beach a sperm whale, then expect health care from others is an ugly, soulless condition.
n To provide billions and billions of dollars for the lie of (conduct-driven) AIDS research while U.S. military heroes go without is both soulless and foolish.
n It is the depth of soullessness to believe that animals have the same rights as human beings.
n For a government to turn its back on the ever-increasing invasion across our borders is brain-dead, suicidal and soulless.
n For an American to have to press "1 for English" is a soulless, downward spiral from the American Way.
n Your soul is gone if you board your private jet on the way to preach to others how they must use less energy.
n To force unarmed police cadets into the streets of Manhattan is soulless, Mayor Bloomberg.
n Suing the manufacturer of a legal product — a firearm — when it is illegally misused by criminals is soulless.
n To claim that war is not the answer after 3,000 Americans were murdered by foreign invaders is soulless.
n Reading the warning signs about cancer on the package of a product and then actually purchasing and using that product is soulless and expensive for everyone.
n For a government agency to pull elderly, wheelchair-bound Americans out of line at the airport for x-ray screening is soulless and counterproductive.
n To forbid American citizens the right to harvest our natural resources on our lands but then hire others to do so with our tax dollars is insanely soulless.
The abandonment of common sense, logic and self-evident truths has brought about this incredibly stupid suicide of the American soul.
People actually feel comfortable making these chimp-like choices.
Those of us who know better must galvanize and put pressure on those ruining things for everybody.
Indecent behavior and choices must be demonized and condemned and those guilty ostracized from our society.
We respect all pursuits of happiness unless a pursuit forces the costs upon others.
The Declaration of Independence is the celebration of the soul of man.
Celebrate and fight for soulful independence.
