• St. Alban's Episcopal Church will have a special Inauguration Day prayer service at 9 a.m. Tuesday to pray for the incoming administration. The church is located at 305 N. 30th St.

• Poppa Rollo's Pizza, located at 703 N. Valley Mills Drive, is hosting an inauguration watch party at 6 p.m. Tuesday, rebroadcasting the daytime festivities.
• The Links Inc. Waco chapter is hosting an inaugural gala at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Texas Life Annex, 900 Washington Ave. The event features live jazz performances, a buffet of hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. • The Cen-Tex African American Chamber of Commerce is hosting an inauguration celebration at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the McCAP building, located at 400 Schroeder Drive. The event features a performance by New Jazz Generation and viewing of the inaugural ball broadcasts. Tickets cost $10. The chamber also is hosting an inauguration watch party at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites, 1801 Development Blvd. in Bellmead.
• The annual MLK Peace March will be held at 9:30 a.m. today. The march begins at Heritage Square and proceeds to Martin Luther King Jr. Park. A free lunch will be served afterward in the Bledsoe-Miller Recreation Center.
• The Fred Batts Leadership Luncheon at noon today will honor King. The keynote address, "Now that the dream has been realized, where do we go from here?" will be delivered by Willie Clark, pastor of Pleasant Olive Missionary Baptist Church. The program will be held in the Bledsoe-Miller Recreation Center, 300 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. An optional lunch may be purchased for $5.
• Mission Waco will have its "MLK Day Racial Reconciliation Program" at 1:30 p.m. today in the Jubilee Theatre at 1319 N. 15th St. The program features music and dance performances, a historical overview of King's life and the civil rights movement, and an open discussion.
• The annual Martin Luther King Jr. candlelight vigil will be held at 6 p.m. today at Martin Luther King Jr. Park. Those attending should bring a candle.
• The Baylor University Association of Black Students, in conjunction with the Department of Multicultural Activities, will have its MLK program at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Miller Chapel of the Tidwell Bible Building.
