Singer Holly Tucker sings the national anthem before Tuesday night’s baseball game between the Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers in Arlington. The Lorena native and former “The Voice” contestant was named Female Vocalist of the Year at the East Texas Music Awards in Bullard, while her song “You’re In Texas” won Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Video of the Year. She’s nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and Best Album (“Steel”) honors for the Texas Country Music Association awards later this month.
