Rachelle Kemp, of R&R Landscaping, will demonstrate holiday arrangements made from materials commonly found in residential yards during a Master Gardeners lunch from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the pavilion at Carleen Bright Arboretum in Woodway.

‘Successful Aging’

Dr. Michael Jahrmarkt, geriatric director of the Family Health Center, will speak on “Successful Aging” during a luncheon starting at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lake Shore United Methodist Church, 3311 Park Lake Drive.

The luncheon is free, but reservations are required by noon Tuesday.

Huntington’s support

The Huntington’s Disease Support Group of Waco will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the Education Building, Room B16, at Highland Baptist Church, 3014 Maple Ave.

The peer-led support group is open to anyone interested in learning more about Huntington’s Disease.

Aging workshops

The Area Agency on Aging is offering three workshops in October: a chronic disease workshop for all conditions, a diabetes workshop and a pain workshop.

Each workshop meets once a week for six weeks. Enrollment does not require a doctor’s order or replace current treatments. Significant others are also encouraged to attend. For more information, call 292-1855.
