A free entrepreneurship boot camp for veterans will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Waco McLennan County Library Conference Room at 1717 Austin Ave. The boot camp will focus on the three “Ms” of business: management, marketing, and money, with exemplary entrepreneurs presenting each segment. Steve Surguy of the Mclennan Small Business Development Center will present on how the center can help Veterans grow their business.

Pack of Hope
Casa de Castillo, 4820 Sanger Ave., will host a Pack of Hope fundraiser Tuesday.
The restaurant will donate 25 percent of all sales between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. to the nonprofit organization, whose sole mission is to erase child hunger in McLennan County by providing school districts and their eligible students with backpacks filled with food to take home on weekends.
Pack of Hope serves 17 of the 18 school districts in McLennan County.

The Alta Vista Neighborhood Association will have its biannual neighborhoodwide garage sale Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Residents in the Alta Vista Neighborhood Association boundaries do not have to get a permit to have a garage sale that weekend.
