The Waco Women’s Lions Club will have a “Dinner in the Dark” fundraiser at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Baylor Club at McLane Stadium.
The event will raise money and awareness for Leader Dogs for the Blind and local organizations that provide services to people with sight impairment. It will feature cocktails, a 4-course dinner and raffle items, including a South Texas hunting trip and a 3-night Fredericksburg bed and breakfast getaway.

Out on the Brazos
The Out on the Brazos LBGTQ Pride Festival will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Northern Gateway Pavilion, on Lover’s Leap Road in Cameron Park.
The free event will feature food, music, poetry, fun and games for people of all ages.

Children’s garden fair
The Carleen Bright Arboretum, 9001 Bosque Blvd. in Woodway, will host a children’s garden fair from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The event is free and includes demonstrations and instructional classes in aquaponics, leaf rubbing, rock painting, potting a plant and much more.
