Fall Horticulture Symposium

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s McLennan County Horticulture Committee will have its Fall Horticulture Symposium on Tuesday at the McLennan Community College Emergency Services Education Center.

Registration is at 8 a.m. and costs $10. RSVP to 757-5180.

The program starts at 8:30 with a presentation on greenhouse management by Louie McDaniel and Barry Vokes with the McLennan County Master Gardeners. There are also programs on compositing, producing in high tunnels, and fall gardening.

Toastmasters open house

Centex Clearly Speaking Toastmasters will have an open house meeting at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at Crestview Community Center, 7129 Delhi Road.
