A CROP Hunger Walk will start at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Bledsoe-Miller Pavillion. Registration opens at 2.

MCC closed Nov. 22-26
McLennan Community College will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Nov. 22-26. Offices will close at 5 p.m. Nov. 21, but evening classes will be held that day.
Texas Tech University offices will also be closed Nov. 22-26, and classes will not be held. Tarleton State University offices will be open and classes will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 22. For more information, contact Highlander Central at 299-8622.
Microchips and vaccinations
The Animal Birth Control Clinic, 3238 Clay Ave, is having a pet microchip and health clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Art Guild show
The Art Guild of Central Texas will have a free “Show and Get Help” event from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the garden room at Central Presbyterian Church, 9191 Woodway Drive.
Members and guests can present pieces of finished art to show or bring something to receive advice from many professional artists and teachers in the guild.
Waco Homespun Quilters’ Guild will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Lakewood Christian Church, 6509 Bosque Blvd.
