NeighborWorks Waco and the AARP Tax-Aide Program once again are offering free tax preparation services to qualified applicants.
Three sites are operating in Waco:

- Providence Hospital, Young Tower, 6901 Medical Parkway; Phone: 751-4000; Hours: noon to 4 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Feb. 5 to April 16
- First Baptist Church Hewitt, 301 S. First St., Hewitt; Phone: 214-9123; Hours: noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, from Thursday to April 17.
Clint Harp, owner of Harp Design Co., will be the featured speaker at the Waco Rotary Club’s meeting at noon Monday at the Waco Lions Den, 1716 N. 42nd St.

Prospective students and parents are invited to tour Vanguard Middle and High School starting at 6 p.m. Monday.
Tours will start in Jaworski Commons, 2517 Mt. Carmel Drive. An informal question-and-answer session will take place from 6 to 6:30, followed by campus tours and classroom visits.
St. Louis open house
St. Louis Catholic School will host an open house from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday starting in the school cafeteria, 2208 N. 23rd St.

The Beat Divas
McLennan Community College’s Steinway Series will present The Beat Divas in concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Ball Performing Arts Center.

A fundraiser for the Moody Community Library is set for 6:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Moody Elementary School Cafeteria, 107 Core Lee Lane.
