The Marek No. 104 Daughters of the Nile will have its second annual Central Texas Bunco Tournament, “Let the Good Times Roll for the Children” March 3 at the Lee Lockwood Library, 2801 W. Waco Drive. Doors open at noon, and the dice roll at 2 p.m.
First, second and third place prizes will be awarded. There will be a silent auction, raffle items and a 50-50 pot.
Registration is $35 and includes a light lunch and two raffle tickets. Proceeds from the event will benefit Daughters of the Nile, whose only benefactors are children in Shriners Hospitals.

Texas Independence Day
Historic Waco Foundation is sponsoring a Texas Independence Day celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 3 on the grounds of the East Terrace House Museum, 100 Mill St.
Cost is $10 per family. No credit cards will be accepted. The event will feature live music, food trucks, games, crafts and stories of Waco and Texas independence.
