Speegleville will hold its Christmas parade on Saturday morning. Participants are asked to gather at 9:30 a.m. at Speegleville Elementary School, 101 Maywood Drive, before the parade begins at 10 a.m.
The route will finish at Speegleville United Methodist Church, where a hot dog lunch will be served.
Jazz orchestra concert
The Waco Jazz Orchestra Concert is Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ball Performing Arts Center on the campus of McLennan Community College.

Stroke club party
The Waco Stroke Club, a support group for survivors, family and caregivers of stroke victims, hosts its Christmas party at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The Hill County Genealogical Society will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the Hill County Extension Office Dining Room at 126 South Covington St., Hillsboro.

The Bellmead Christmas Parade is Thursday at 7 p.m. This is the 32nd year that the Knights of Columbus have sponsored this event. The theme of the parade is “Keep Christ in Christmas.”
Last year the parade had more than 70 floats, representing commercial as well as religious Christmas themes. Youth groups and choral groups are encouraged to participate. Trophies will be awarded.
