Robinson asks for water limitations
The city of Robinson is asking residents to voluntarily limit outdoor watering as it activates the first stage of its drought contingency plan.
Robinson water customers are asked to limit their irrigation of landscaped areas to Sundays and Thursdays only if their street address ends in an even number. Those with odd-numbered street addresses are asked to water outdoors on Saturdays and Wednesdays only.

Pump out in Riesel area
Meiers Settlement water customers in the Riesel area are asked to conserve water as much as possible because a water pump will be out of service into next week.

A.J. Moore golf tourney
The A.J. Moore Alumni Reunion will kick off with a golf tournament at 8 a.m. today at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course, 5201 Bagby Ave., and continue through the weekend at the Waco Convention Center, 100 Washington Ave.

Bellmead NNO
The city of Bellmead is seeking local organizations to participate in its annual National Night Out event, scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 2 at Ronnie Cleere Fields, 3900 Parrish St.
The event is geared to raise support and participation for local anti-crime programs, and to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police partnerships.
