A lucky Baylor University employee became an instant millionaire after his second scratch-off lottery ticket of the day hit the big jackpot.

Thu Trinh, manager of Ward Liquor, 4020 Bosque Blvd., where the winning ticket was sold, said the winning player is a regular customer at the liquor store and has requested that his identity not be released.

The owner of the store will get $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The man came into the store Feb. 10 and bought a Texas Lottery Black series scratch-off ticket for $10 and won $20, Trinh said. He returned to the store, invested his winnings in another Black ticket and won $1 million with the next ticket, he said.

The Tribune-Herald was unable to confirm the winning ticket with the Texas Lottery Commission Monday evening.
