Streep serves a delicious interpretation

John DeFore

Austin American Statesman

"Though 'Julie & Julia' is hardly a film for the ages, it might make you wish for more films like it: movies that find a way to let gifted actors dance through a real subject's life without all the heaviness and predictability associated with big-screen biographies."

A delicious double order

Eric Robinette, a.k.a. "Sir Critic"

Dayton Daily News

"Easily (Nora Ephron's) best-work as a writer-director, trumping Sleepless in Seattle and marking a fine return to form after the disaster that was Bewitched."

"Loved it! It is a really fun movie. Meryl Streep as Julia Child is amazing. I am not a foodie, nor a particular Julia Child fan, and I still really enjoyed the movie. Having caught little bits of Julia Child's t.v. shows when I was younger, I could not stop laughing at how accurately Meryl Streep portrayed her. "
