'Inkheart' lacks heart

"Ham-fisted preaching about the power of books really hits home when you've just sat through such unimaginative cinematic fare."

nice pg movie

"it is a good movie, nice plot, of course a little predictable, but what do you expect from a pg movie? good movie to see after work when you want to relax. course does have its action in it, but still a nice way to just unwind."

Inkheart

"This is a ripping good yarn. Granted the special effects are not up to some individuals expectations, this movie still is a joy to watch. For the artsy intellectual crowd, there is no social message or political commentary it is just a good old fashioned evenings entertainment. This one is a definite keeper when it comes out on video. Inkheart rocks your socks off!

"Despite some very negative reviews, I loved the Inkheart movie. The book was better, but that's pretty much true to every book being turned into a movie. Oh, yeah, before you see it, please read the book! It makes a huge difference. I personally thought that the acting and the story was awesome!"

"Saw this movie over the weekend and it was terrible. The acting as well as the story itself was awful. It certainly doesn't compare to a Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings. I had free movie passes and I strongly feel like they owe ME money.Wait for this one on DVD or better yet cable."
