"This movie had a fairly good premise and I was looking forward to the step dancing. However, I think that if you are not familiar with the culture depicted in the movie, it is a little hard to enjoy. I didn't really understand the club dancing contests and the acting was only marginal. I think that people who have experienced this culture will probably enjoy the movie, but not people like me for whom this is their first exposure. I will say that I liked the love story and a few of the dancing scenes."

"C- the Reviewer apparently did not like the movie of sort. I looked up the word Critic and in my dicitionary it means negative, bad attitude, and fault finder need I say more. The Critic should atleast decided to wait for those that have went to see the movie and then survey the real review to reflect the audience taste and not his own.. I think the AJC should maybe UPGRADE their movie reviews to a more realistic review of the quality of African American Movies that are being more RECONGIZED ALL OVER THE WORLD, inwhich those all around the world HAVE BEEN WAITING ON FOR YEARS...we are finally in the mainstream of MUSIC AND NOW MOVIES. BRING IT ON THE NEW AFRICAN AMERICANS "HOLLYWOOD" and now we need those who can fairly critique our Movies would be very nice."
