True Love

Elfmaid
"This picture embodies what true love is all about. Jane, in the end, realizes the cost of their being together and makes a decision that reflects that. People today rarely face such obstacles, so it a beautiful glimpse into what the difference is between today's idea of lust and compatibility, and what real commitment and sacrifice are. The look and feel of the movie is lovely and realistic to the period. Loving Austin's work as I do, I feel this story does her credit and shows, possibly, the inspiration she later drew for her work. A must see for fans of her books and movies."

A look back in time!

"A truly lovely film. The actors are a treat to watch. Not for everyone but if you like English literature and period films this is a very good one to see. Any Anglophile will want more of this type of film -- I do!"
