The McLennan Highlanders improved to 9-1 on the season as they defeated the Eastfield Harvesters, 96-77, at The Highlands on Monday.
MCC built a double-digit lead with six minutes left in the first half, led by as many as 18 down the stretch in the first half and held the 50-37 advantage at the break.
Eastfield cut the lead to seven midway through the second half, but the Highlanders pulled away again and cruised to the win.
Sophomore Jordan Glynn led MCC with 21 points and Orren Tims added 17. Maurice Steen and Tralyn Hardend scored 15 and 10, respectively.
The Highlanders return to action on Friday, hosting Tomball College at 4 p.m.
