Priscilla Galliguez and Nikkitti Scott scored 11 points apiece to lead the McLennan Community College Highlasses past Paris Junior College, 62-40, on Saturday.
MCC started the game on an 8-0 run and never trailed. The Highlassies (4-6) took a 31-14 lead after the first half and cruised in the final 20 minutes.
MCC used seven players in the game, and all of them scored at least seven points. Shedera Bowman and Kiara Farley had nine each, Nicole Walton scored eight and Janna Hubbard and Marsharae Brown both scored seven.
MCC’s season continues with a game at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Blinn College.
