Wayman ~ Hudiburg

Emily Kate Hudiburg and Larson McShan Wayman were united in marriage at 6 o'clock, Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The ceremony was officiated by Dr. Byron Weathersbee and Dr. Randall Spindle. Following the wedding, a reception was held at Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Broadway Warehouse located in OKC Bricktown.
Emily is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Hudiburg of Oklahoma City, and granddaughter of Mrs. Jean Hudiburg, the late Mr. Paul Hudiburg, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Long, and Mrs. Evelyn Long, all of Oklahoma. She is a 2014 honor graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Emily is currently a third grade teacher at Oran M. Roberts Elementary School in Houston, Texas.
Larson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wayman of Waco, Texas, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Hornor Shelton, Mrs Jean Ann Wayman and the late Mr. James Wayman, all of Waco, Texas. Larson is a 2014 graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science. He is presently attending the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston as a second year dental student.
The bride was escorted by her father and presented in marriage by her parents and brothers. Matron of honor was sister-in-law of the bride, Mackenci Hudiburg. Bridesmaids were Taylor Derr Beall, Anna-Louise Deaver, Ann Dyer, Karin Gibson, Hayley Johnson, Valerie Long, Kathryn Morrill, Jillian Neville, Abigail Stainback, Coralee Toal, and Anna Berry Tucker. Flower girl was cousin of the groom, Elizabeth Holloway. House party were Madison Cloud, Catherine-Clare Kelly, Sarah Turpen, Blair Warren, and Kathlin Winter.
Best man was the brother of the groom, Browning Wayman. Groomsmen were Pearson Brown, Jake Dickson, Kevin Ellis, Andrew Hudiburg, Davis Hudiburg, Grant Hudiburg, Jimmy Landes, Blake Lawrence, Andrew Mobley, Andrew Tucker, Eric Wren, and Jackson Wren. Ring Bearers were Finley Flowers, cousin of the bride, and John Holloway, cousin of the groom. Honorary ring bearer was Boone Wayman, nephew of the groom.
Scripture readers were Rylee and Reese Atkins, cousins of the bride. Guests of honor were Oral Hoke and Karen Boehm. Music was provided by organist Steve Thompson and Don Shreffler & Band.
Emily and Larson, who met their freshman year at Baylor, honeymooned in Mexico and presently reside in Houston, Texas.
