Kristie Lynn Oliver and Jackson Taylor Blackwell were united in marriage at 6:30 in the evening, Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Peacock River Ranch in Gatesville, Texas. The ceremony was officiated by Mac Rust. A reception followed immediately after the ceremony. A rehearsal dinner was hosted at Junction 36 by the parents of the bride, Sonny and Shirley Oliver.
Kristie is the daughter of Sonny and Shirley Oliver of Lorena, Texas and the granddaughter of Bertie Millsap and the late James W. Millsap of Purmela, Texas, and Rodney Oliver and wife, Annette, of Valley Mills, Texas, and the late Annie "MiMi" Oliver. The bride is a graduate of Baylor University.
Jackson is the son of David and Kim Blackwell of Waco, Texas and the grandson of Fred and Marlene Stephens of Greenville, Texas and Ketty Rasmussen of Mesquite, Texas. The groom is a graduate of TSTC.
The bride was presented in marriage by her parents and was escorted by her father. The bride wore a slim A-line that featured a sweetheart neckline and gorgeous beaded lace motifs dancing across tulle, designed by Maggie Sottero. The bride carried a bouquet of berry toned spray of flowers. Matron of honor was Fallon Jones and bridesmaids were Erin Anderson, Amber Morales, Hannah Boynton, and Maegan Whitt. Flower girls were Charley Cowan, Alexis Cumby, Samantha Jackson, and Jacy Pratka.
Best man was Trace Day and groomsmen were Colton Allred, Kurt Mersiovsky, Blake Murphy, and JP Pothier. Ring bearer was Kaiden Cumby. Ushers were Brenton Blackwell and Brandon Oliver.
Music was provided by Hogue Productions and floral arrangements were by Randy Burton.
The couple will reside in Royse City, Texas.
