Valley Mills gets extra day to plan for Hubbard

By Brian Bateman

Valley Mills moved up its game last week against Texas Christian Academy to Thursday, giving the Eagles plenty of time this week to prepare for a suddenly strong Hubbard squad.

Offensively, the Eagles had no trouble last week with three different players picking up 100-plus yards on the ground. The Jaguars had one player surpass that mark by himself. Bradley Walker scored three touchdowns on 368 yards.

“Last week, our defensive tackling was much improved; we were flying to the football,” coach Dusty Robinson said. “We’ll have our hands full this week.”
