Dwyer Group casts search net with website

The Dwyer Group, based in Waco, has announced it is searching for additional service and repair-based franchising companies to acquire. To aid in the search, the company has launched a new section to its website: http://www.dwyergroup.com/Acquisitions/. This gives franchisors a detailed look at the company's acquisition strategy and the criteria they must meet to be considered.

 

"We've had incredible success with our seven franchise brands, and we are in a leadership role to grow an additional concept across the country that complements our network," said Dina Dwyer-Owens, chairwoman and CEO of The Dwyer Group.

 

Supporting the expansion is TZP Group LLC, a private-equity firm that acquired The Dwyer Group in a $150 million deal last December.

 

The Dwyer Group is a holding company of seven franchise businesses: Aire Serv, Glass Doctor, The Grounds Guys, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Electric, Mr. Rooter and Rainbow International.
