Smorgasbord of inanities
I’ve got a few tidbits to bring up. Comment on what you like. Or not.
Em has a cat she needs to go to a good outside home. Fuzzy Friends is full and Astro, her fiancee’s cat, has decided she’s too good for the litter box. Hence the “she’d make a great outside cat” part. She’s neutered and has her claws. Email or comment me if you’re interested.
On a completely different note, did anyone see that kid riding his bike on major roads Sunday, with a sign on his back that said something like, “And all who touched him were healed.”??? I couldn’t decide if this kid was on a religious crusade or was actually inviting all who read his sign to touch him. I’d love some insight here.
Also … does anyone have tips for not blacking out while working out in the summer? The past two days I’ve been completely light-headed and dizzy and it has started after my fairly intense morning workouts. It’s not heat exhaustion, because I was inside the gym. I went to the doctor and he told me to take allergy medicine?? So now I’m seeking your completely unqualified opinion.

Wendy have your self checked for diabetes, now don’t go nuts , it is treatable, and its not the end of the world, besides that may not be the problem at all, but it is a symptom.. I want ask about other symptoms, because they are some-what personal, but really get your self checked..

First, find yourself another doctor! You should have been tested and not just told to take allergy medicine. Could be one of many things, some serious, some not so serious. The same thing happened to me in junior high and my daughter in elementary school. It was remedied as easily as eating half a peanut butter sandwich now and then. On second thought, why not give Astro to the “doctor” and kinda, sorta not mention that she is on litter-box-strike? The McLennan County Medical Society can refer you to a competent physician, ask for Marcy. They do not charge for this service. I love the smorgasbord too, keep up the good work!

The dizzy thing could be hypoglycemia. Its generally not a big deal. Like Chef said, you just need to eat a snack several times a day.
I knew a guy about 25 years ago that would walk around Waco pulling GIANT cross. He waited for someone to ask, then witnessed to them about Christ. I’ll bet sign boy is on the same track.
Love ya,

Wendy this is a great medical site, {{ www.webmd.com}} you can read about hypoglycemia [diabetes ], among other things, that way, if and when you do go to the Doc. to have a diabetes check, you will understand what he is telling you, and also you can ask intelligent questions.. Take care little Lady

I love cats. Three of them own me.
Yes, another doctor might help. Unless you are working out too hard for where your body wants you to be, light-headedness will occur — even close to a blackout. Still the advice of another doctor might help. Have them run tests, Wendy. And God bless you!!! <><

Mrs. Fred. Mayor DuPuy cannot help the way her voice sounds, as you cannot help being the southbound end of a jack-a*. You need help, man. <><

Wendy:
Had a thought on the light-headed thing. I recently started a diet and exercise program (too dang fat, I am). It turns out that I maybe should do one or the other.
The strenuous exercise combined with the lower caloric intake almost made me pass out last night.
I guess I need a happy medium between the two. Could be your problem too. I know you girls are always on a diet of some sort.
Happy 4th!
