All-Star Game Moving Forward
A couple of months ago, I wrote a column about the idea of creating a Super Centex All-Star Football Game.
The reaction it received was overwhelming.
I’ve since heard from fans, coaches and leaders of different organizations and businesses around the Waco area who are interested in making this game a reality sometime in the future. Who knows, perhaps by even 2009?
Anyway, some time in the next month or so, I plan to hold an interest meeting here at the Tribune-Herald regarding the creation and development of such a game. If you would be interested in attending that meeting, just e-mail me and I’ll let you know the details once they are confirmed.

I noticed that WISD is looking for several basketball coachs including spots at Waco High and University. Who in God’s Heaven or the Devil’s Hell would want them. Whatever fools accept these jobs will have to be like Lee Marvin in the Dirty Dozen.
