PGA Championship: final thought
By Chad Conine
| Sunday, August 10, 2008, 06:24 PM
Just as Padraig Harrington stood over his putt on the 18th green a few minutes ago, I thought to myself, “Wouldn’t it be interesting if Padraig left the door open for Sergio by missing this, just as Sergio left the door open for Padraig a year ago at Carnoustie?”
But, of course, it didn’t happen.
Perhaps that’s why Padraig has won three of the last six majors and Sergio is looking for his first.

How about something on the City Tournament? Or will that take you’ll tooooooo muchhhh typing. Seeing how your coverage was pretty much “useless”, excluding what your story Monday that was alright. But what about all the other scores. I have been approached by other people wanting to know how someone did but couldn’t answer because the Newspaper didn’t have the time to post the scores(sounds lazy to me), maybe if & when the Newspaper is sold we will get different Management their that cares about the people that buy their paper.
WacoTrib.com staff: We’re working to get that info online, Buzzard. (My guess is that the city didn’t send it to us, truth be told.) Here are the links to both days of our coverage:
