Summer in the City
Experience summertime in Waco with Summer Shine, a self-described "happening chick in a happening town." Summer is a Temple native who moved to Waco from Austin in 2007 for a change of pace. As she says, "WOW. It happened." The mother of two sons, Summer shines brightly in her job at Chipotle on Valley Mills Drive , and now on WacoTrib.com, too.

Cameron Park is a beautiful park. Weekends it is usually full of people, playing games, bar-b-queing, etc.. It is sad to hear now that new wrought iron fences are going up in areas such as Lover’s Leap. The reason people fall is because they don’t obey the signs telling them not to climb or go around the fence to fall. Higher wrought iron fences will just make people with poor judgment have a higher climb, still with poor judgment. Tax dollars at waste in my opinion. Still it is a wonderful place to be!!! <><
