Summer in the City
Experience summertime in Waco with Summer Shine, a self-described "happening chick in a happening town." Summer is a Temple native who moved to Waco from Austin in 2007 for a change of pace. As she says, "WOW. It happened." The mother of two sons, Summer shines brightly in her job at Chipotle on Valley Mills Drive , and now on WacoTrib.com, too.

There was a time I used to use the booth at Gold’s Gym. The tan was okay but not worth the time. Looks like the technology keeps improving, though. Now I have a backyard and sitting spots, so the booth is gone. One thing is, I do not want to look tan during the cold of winter!!! <><

Or people could just learn to be comfortable with their natural skin color :) It’s cheaper and you don’t run the risk of cancer.

Summer! You have a friend that has had multiple melanoma removed, and tanning beds contributed (she used them for years, evan after the first melanoma was removed). She now uses the ‘spray on’ tanning mist, and we are all much relieved. Every person that has been sunburned as a child, and exposed for long periods of time in a tanning bed or even excessive exposure to the sun, should have a full body check for melanoma or other damage at least once a year.

I can’t tell you how many teenage girls I see around town who think they have this spectacular tan, but apparently don’t realize that they ar this very odd, orange tone. It’s ghastly.
Could they be Tanorexic? http://lolamoranews.blogspot.com/2007/11/are-you-tanorexic.html

We need a clothing optional park on Lake Waco, like Hippie Hollow on Lake Travis. We could get the all over tan naturally without tanning beds or the orangie spray-on look.
