Off to Vegas

There are many Waco bowlers heading off to the USBC National open tournament in Las Vegas the next two weeks. I will be bowling Thursday and Friday this week. Let us know how you scored, what the conditions were like. Any good stories from the casinos? Good luck to all and let us hear from you….

Just got back, The only good thing in LV was the easy lane conditions(Ha Ha). We bowled reasonible but not as well as we could. Everything their was overpriced or inflated prices, and the LIZZARDS were out every night(some not to bad).

Just to let everyone know , the Women of Waco also go to the National tournament and it is in Reno. This week there will be 6 teams going to bowl in Reno, most of these ladies bowl on Monday night in the Ladies Classic league. We have a lot of fun in our Monday night fall league, so if any lady is interested in bowling in the fall please give us a call at Lake Air and ask for Ladies Classic league. Good luck to all who go and bowl in the national tournament whether you are a man or woman.

Yes, I’m pretty excited to be headed to Reno tomorrow. I’ve been wondering why no one ever mentions the ladies on the bowling blog. We have a really fun league on Monday night.

Buzzard…you should stay away from those lizzards. They carry disease!

Hey guys!!! I just read online that Anthony Cubbage was in a car accident on May 20th, 2009. He and his family bowled in the Friday Night McLennan Mixed League! If anyone knows the family, please see how he is. They said he was in critical condition at Hillcrest. He was a great man and always had a smile to be there. If you guys get any information please let me know. Thanks, Natalie

Well, we ladies just got back from Reno and we had a good time. Bowling was ok, but the gambling for some of us was better. We had several of us that hit for more than $1000 and had a good time. We had 12 of us that went to Bodie, Cal. to a ghost town on Saturday and it was exciting and something to see, we also went to Virginia City on the way back and that was fun too. Just like Vegas the food can be expensive, not cheap like it used to be. Now it is on to the Senior Mixed tournament in Killeen in July. Good luck to all who are bowling in it.

The bowling was fun…the gambling was GREAT. You can just call me LUCKY from now on. All in all, it was a wonderful trip. Who ever thought up bowling until 2 or 3 in the morning? Some of us are too old for that!
