Your Website

. . . WWW.WACOBOWLING.COM

How many times have you seen this here. If the print is in blue, it is a link and you can click on it to get there. I will spread some through this article for you to try.

I have found out that some that read this blog did not know we have had a website for a year now. It is a simple, informative and easy to navigate.

For now, the front page is for getting new members. This is a great time to join USBC, just in time for summer leagues and membership will be good until August 2010. That’s added value. The real value comes with the “member rewards”. There are too many to be listed here, so check out the website.

One of the highlights of the website is the BOWLING FORUM. This is the place for you to use. There is a classifieds section to buy or sell equipment. League section, Advice section, participate in polls, and free advertising for merchants in the bowling business.

Right now in the classified section there are a couple of bowling bags, a 4 ball roller and a 3 ball roller. Also, some top performing bowling balls- all 14 lbs. There is even a slot for the national tournament in Vegas for sale.

One of the largest usage comes in TOURNAMENT time, when scores are posted after each day’s competition. The front page is like a billboard with easy links to other pages. But, did you know???— That your website has the names of all our HALL OF FAME members, LIFE MEMBERS, your associations BOARD OF DIRECTORS (each board member and officer’s name has an email link). The events page will have links to state and national tournaments for entry forms and results. Plus our local events, such as our Champions Gala.

Looking at the bottom of the front page, there are a couple of pictures/logos. The logos are of the charities our association supports. The Susan G. Komen “Bowl for the Cure” and BVL “Bowlers to Veterans Link”. Pictures do say so much, in this case, not enough. Each of the logos are a link to each of their respective websites.

So, use the website and invite someone to come “Bowl With Us”

Before you comment, please take a few moments to make sure that what you're saying is civil and respectful. We don't tolerate personal attacks, insults, name-calling, impersonations or generally hateful comments — they don't make for a pleasant (or productive) conversation. We want to raise the level of debate and encourage a wide diversity of viewpoints — and that means disagreeing without being disagreeable. If you wouldn't say it to your grandmother, you probably shouldn't say it here.
