Cheetah Pattern Completed

I’ve heard it said that there is no defense in bowling. Not entirely true. The invisible oil on the lane is your foe. The Cheetah pattern is the shortest at 36 feet. With 24 feet of backend, the ball has plenty of space to react. My experience on this pattern had a fear factor to it. Playing straight up on the edge of the gutter. I was just trying, at first, to keep it outside the 5 board. I started using a Hammer Black Widow Pearl, this was good for 3 games and the 4th game I used a Hammer Blue Vibe. Both have aggressive drillings and the Vibe was polished for extra length. Yeah, I did drop some in the ditch. I am finding that keys to these PBA patterns is more the bowler than the ball. I had to make a concentrated effort to relax and focus, but that’s just bowling anyway. After the learning curve, and practicing the basics I was taught, my scores started rising up to my regular league average in the upper 180’s. My last series was a must 800+ series to get there with an 805 for 4 games. Next is the Chameleon pattern. I plan on using a Hammer Black Widow Bite and playing inside the track area. Hey, Roger, Tucson sounds like a real sport bowling town. Can you put up some hints about how to play the Chameleon?

Steven, it’s obvious to me that you have too many bowling balls!
