The weekend - what happened here?
A lot of stuff went on this weekend in which I was interested: Crawford at Crawford, Billy Joe Shaver at Brazos Nights, book signings by Nate Self and Suzanne Harper (UT classmate of mine), digital screens debuting at Starplex Galaxy, the new Tablerock Repertory Theater in Salado.
I missed it all because I drove to Little Rock Friday night to spend a day and a half boxing up clothes, books and et cetera at my mother’s house to prepare for its sale. Believe me, I’d rather been in Waco …
So fill me and the rest of our readers in. What did you see this weekend and what was it like? Did it live up to expectations?
