Allan Marshall of the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce blogs about local education, the "town and gown" relationship and his Chamber projects.
Allan Marshall, a 2007 political science graduate of Baylor University, is director of community development at the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce. He has tutored at Waco High School and currently mentors at Stars ISD. Allan was student body external vice president at Baylor, where he helped strengthen the town-gown relationship as well as the university's relationship with the Alumni Association and other Big 12 schools.

— Meet the authors — Ron Hall and Denver Moore, co-authors of Same Kind of Different as Me, will be at Waco Hall TONIGHT at 7 p.m. to speak about their book in the One Book, One Waco program.
