Miley Cyrus travels down familiar path

I had hoped that teen star Miley Cyrus would make it through the teen years with her good sense intact, but she is headed in the same direction as teen stars Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.

Although she says she is embarrassed by a racy photo spread scheduled for the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair, I am not so sure. Photos of her kissing a girl, reclining in a person’s lap and exhibiting other risque behaviors are circulating on the Internet.

I thought Miley would be a teen star that our girls could admire for a few more years.

In her defense, Miley said she thought the photo shoot was artistic. However, the picture of her nude body swaddled in a blanket tells a different story. I certainly would not want my sons to see it considering they are also fans of the Hanna Montana Show.

I hope this most recent incident will serve as a wakeup call to Miley and encourage her parents to tighten the reigns before it is too late. Let us keep our fingers crossed.

Young actors need to remember that what they do will somehow get exposed. If there are only pictures of Ms Miley half-undressed, I can imagine what she may do without the camera around??

You know something…1) Her parents, Not Her, should be the ones to blame for allowing a “Decorated” Photographer to be alone with their 15-year old Daughter. The photo everyone is talking about was taken AFTER the Photographer asked the parents to leave the scene because she wanted to do something a “little” racy. WHY would u leave ur daughter to a stranger with a Camera? 2) Vanity Fair is a high class magazine and to put a 15 year old barebacked with a blanket Gives off a trashy vibe… But u know what’s going to happen? that magazine is going to sell OFF the carts just because of all the Publicity aroung this Picture. U think they are going to care when those DOLLAR$$$ Figures come in? 3) Miley Cyrus is young & just starting to blossom as a Star and for every one to just JUDGE her off the jump is Ignorant. Calling her the “Next Lindsay or Britney” & It took ALOT of damage before those girls crashed. Look at the drama after the “vanessa Hudgens” Fiasco… and she was NAKED… & she didn’t come out and apologize her publicist did and no came and judged her after wards. Same goes for various starlets. It’s Just a picture & if Miley & her Parents thought it was Art. Who are WE to turn it into some SICK innuendo. Irregardless of what anyone thinks pictures are going to be taken, money will still be paid and Stars will do what they have to do to stay on top. Even if it costs them the “Popular Vote” with children.

What’s really sad is thinking about all the kiddie porn perverts who will salivate over that photo. Her parents should have know better than to let Annie Levowitz take her pitcure, and they ought to sue the magazine for printing kiddie soft porn.

There’s blame all around here but Miley could be doing much worse—I have to give her that much credit. Think about Jamie Lynn Spears’ story. She’s 17 now, got pregnant at 16, and rumor has it, was at 15 was living by herself in LA with her now baby-daddy. And her momma knew and condoned the living together. The photo, I have to admit, is beautiful. It’s just a shame that Miley had to take it when she was 15. That’s what makes the photo wrong. It would have been better to see Miley take it when she was 17 or 18.

I think the photo of Miley and her father is more creepy than the photo of her back. These photos should have been private family photos and they should have been able to decide which one(s) would be released to the media and which one would be allowed in Vanity Fair. This was poorly managed for sure.

I think the picture with her father was the creepiest of all YUK !!!!! and to think that anyone would let their minor daughter do a photo shoot alone is neglect. Then not to proof the pics before you let them be seen by anyone is child abuse. This child needs better supervision is my belief.
