Encouraging kids to go green
By Mia Moody

The occurrence of Earth Day each year reminds us of what we should do to be eco-friendly year-round.
I want my family to do its part to conserve the Earth’s valuable resources; however, recycling is not always easy. Some suggestions that I have picked up over the years include:
Take a reusable bag to the grocery store
Use a reusable mug/cup at work
Use recycled-content copy paper
Recycle paper, plastics, glass, etc
Recycle electronics, including computers
Build a garden using native plants
Buy groceries in bulk
Do you all have any other good ideas?
