McLennan County Dems go with Hillary
With 100 percent of the vote in, McLennan County voters casting ballots in today’s Democratic primary election gave a 414-vote edge to Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Returns showed Clinton with 12,275 votes to Barack Obama’s 11,861 votes.
Clinton made a concerted effort to win Democrats living in “Bush Country,” stumping at the Waco Convention Center last Friday (and just as President Bush flew in for a weekend at his nearby ranch), then dispatching former first daughter Chelsea Clinton to visit local seniors and campaign volunteers on Monday.
Former President Bill Clinton also stumped in the area, including nearby Killeen and, just this past weekend, College Station.

I’m afraid to mention this but I feel that I must. A good friend of mine was at a Democratic caucus. She is a Republican and said she registered as a Democrat for this primary only to vote for Hillary. She said she only voted for Hillary because if she wins this primary Hillary won’t have a chance to win the Presidency. My friend said guess who, Rush someone, told Republicans to do this. How discusting if this is true. Shame on you if you did this. What does this kind of behavior mean? What kind of person does something like this?

Yes, Republicans helped her out this time to only vote against her in November. Maybe a law need to be passed to make the voters stick with Republicans or Democrats. If that was the case Obama would have won by a landslide.

Those of you that voted for Hillary might regret it if she wins the presidency.

Wow, I guess you all forgot that her husband made your town synonymous with “wacko.”

My husband’s actions are his to take, and mine are mine that I take responsibility for. That accounts for some split voting in the same households. The spouses make up their own minds on these issues. Hillary has no responsibility for the Branch Davidian situation. She is independent-minded and would not take marching orders from anyone about what to think, say or do
