Looks like Doc continues to rack up the Austin club - completing it with his Rick Perry love fest next week. Looks like Doc does more for the boys in Austin than for us, especially if he can’t even get the endorsment of the Waco Police Association and the Waco Eagle Forum.

Well I find that comment ironic because if you wanted to only focus on Waco than maybe Sibley should run for city council instead of the Texas legislature or maybe he just doesnt work well with others. Oh and last time I checked Texas Farm Bureau was a big employer in Mclennan County, but I guess that doesn’t count either.

Doc’s “Austin Boys” so you call it….are nothing more than people that respect Doc for a job well done. As far as the Waco Police Association and Eagle Forum….they must be in “Daddy Sibley’s back pocket!!

The Combined Law Enforcement Association of Texas (CLEAT) has been fighting for years to enact laws that protect the rights of law enforcement officers and citizens. Doc Anderson has fought against CLEAT on some of these very important issues. He may have endorsements from a number of organizations that he takes money from and does favors for, but not from the majority of police officers. Think about that when you go to vote. Do you want someone who supports police officers rights and your rights, or someone who supports big business?

I have always appreciated our Waco police force. However, do unions speak over Doc?
Does Doc support big business? Please, he runs a clinic for animals. I call that lots of education, dedication, and running a local business.
Doc is always working, just take a look. Does Doc support unions? Now that’s big business! Don’t sit on the Golden Egg of American economics. Free enterprise works and so does Doc.

Doc supports all Law Enforcement Agencies, not for their vote but for the job they do each and everyday. Your comment ” Doc Anderson has fought against CLEAT on some of these very important issues “, wasn’t even worth the time you took to write it. No substance to your words.

As a Vietnam Era Veteran I thank Doc for his loyality to ” all veterans ” and was glad to see him stand up for veterans rights by attending several VA Hospital Events these past years while the government was trying to close our hospital. Thanks Doc

If attending an event makes the man, Doc is the greatest man walking today. The only reason Waco even has a VA Hospital is due to the work of Congressman Edwards, not because of Representative Anderson’s efforts — or lack thereof. A State Representative is supposed to be the voice of the constituents; Doc Anderson is nothing more than an echoing voice of Speaker Craddick. His “accomplishments” include voting against insuring our children; voting against giving pay raises to our teachers; voting for a business tax plan that provided major loopholes to big business; and voting to take voting rights away from every Texas citizen. I could be completely wrong, but I do not think those are the accomplishments that the average resident of McLennan County would be proud of.

By Doc Anderson vs. CLEAT?

The truth about Doc Anderson and his support law enforcement: Doc supported law enforcement by voting for HB 2445 which made it harder for problem cops to bounce from agency to agency; he voted for HCR 96 which called for a study on the standards for creating new police agencies; he voted yes on SB 378 which allows citizens to protect themselves in their homes or vehicles and he voted on HB 1200 which was a CLEAT attempt to kill valuable police training programs just because they were offered by a rival organization. This was clearly a turf battle and had no place in the legislature. By the way CLEAT is run by a self-avowed socialist named Ron DeLord. I, for one, am glad he “fought CLEAT.”

I’m taken when words are said about Doc being no more than in attendence for the VA. Doc served in the military. Check the records.
Now back to this local Primary election. Where are all the comments about Sibley when it comes to our local VA? Sibley hasn’t been there. Wake up, Doc’s always there and he and Chet have both stood on the same side when it comes to the Waco VA. Get a grip!

I’ve never seen Mr. Sibley at any VA functions concerning our veterans, but I have only been at the Waco VA for 25 years. I don’t know if he is a veteran or not. I know that Doc is a veteran. That means alot to all veterans.

The republican voters in district 56 are not impressed with the negative campaigning by Jonathan Sibley. The the contrary, we are turned off and disappointed by this sleazy approach. Sibley should be attempting to pull himself up instead of pulling Doc down. Sibley does need to pull himself up with republican voters as he is not very well thought of. One only has to look at the many influental endorsements Doc has received compared to the two by Sibley to see how much Doc is thought of and how much he has done for our area. I predict a two to one primary win for Doc. Thanks Doc for the great conservative leadership you provide.

Hre is the latest Jonathan Sibely half-truth and distortion. Jonathan calims the endorsment of the s0-called “Waco Eaglge Forum and not to be cnused with the Texas Eagle Forum. I want to make sure that everyone knows what this group is all bout, It is headed by a single issue voter who is mad that Doc suggested that a local cufrew issue was best settled by bringing the local school district, praents, and law enforcement officers together to solve the issue ratehr than file lesgialtion involving all 181 lawmakers in Austin. Doc’s solution worked out fine and today, home school kids are not bound by teh curefew restrictions. Nevertheless this single-issue voter has now gone on the war path and is attacking Doc for his common-sense approach to lawmaking. According to the Texas Eagle Forum, there is no such thing as a local “Waco Eagle Forum” and that no such organization is regsitered or chartered by the them. They note that Doc Sibley has a rock-solid voting record on their pro-family legsialtion scorecard and they hhave always been supportive of his campaigns and his efforts in the Texas Legislature. I know that wehn you look ate Doc’s endorsments compared to Jonathan Sibley’s, Jonatah’s list looks a little puny, but that is still no reason to misrepresent an endorsment that you just dont have because the organziation just doesn’t exit. This is the second time in a week that Jonathan has been caught in a lie—the first being his out right lie about being a lobbyist. We sure don’t need any more liars in Austin.

Jonathan Sibley’s father, Dale Sibley, served in the Navy during World War II, so although he’s not a vet himself, he certainly understands that we owe a great deal to the men and women who have served their nation in the armed forces. Afterall, if it weren’t for the fact that Dale saved and invested whatever he could, working a middle class job at Allstate, there wouldn’t have been any “Sibley money” to begin with.

The VA is a federal program and it’s most likely that Sibley thought he needed to focus his time on building a strong campaign when it comes to county issues, since he was running for State Representative. Furthermore, Jonathan’s a newbie in the political arena, so the little work he did as a “lobbyist” doesn’t really mean much, as he himself doesn’t have much influence beyond what his last name means to people.
