Mellow Simon mostly holds tongue

Simon gave few witty retorts last night as the contestants did a mostly credible job spanning the decades.
Here is my list of Simon’s winners:
“That was the equivalent of somebody outside the subway station.”
“I think the performance was very cheesy.”
“It was reminiscent of a theme park performance. It was one of those ghastly songs you sing when you have animated creatures singing with you.”
Like I said, it was a slow night for Simon, but that last one was a classic!
