Beatles week, take two
By Nathan Wade
| Tuesday, March 18, 2008, 08:16 AM
It’s round two of Beatles’ songs tonight, with the top 11 seeking to be part of the top 10. In previous years, only the top 10 have gone on the summer tour, so it is an important milestone for the competition.
Last week on the whole was a pretty good week of performances. But here’s what I want to see this week:
David Archuleta picking a tender ballad and belting it with all his heart.
Michael Johns picking an upbeat song and really nailing it.
David Cook picking something I really don’t expect and then making it completely his own.
Kristy Lee Cook not doing what she did last week.
Carly Smithson falling flat on her face and going home.
Truly, I’m only asking for simple things here.
Tune in tonight at 7 on FOX, then come back to the blog tomorrow for my thoughts and to share your own. Discussion is the key to us all living the “Idol” dream.
