Here’s some ‘Idol’ news you can really use

We all know the show thrives on controversy.
First there was the Simon, love him or hate him controversy.
Then came the computer-stacked voting phone lines controversy.
There’ve been any number of naked photos/colored past controversies.
And last year we had Sanjaya.
So this year, it seemed we would ride the wave of David Hernandez’s male stripper experience for a while. But he’s already been voted off.
New controversy please!
And here it is: David Archuleta’s father, Jeff, allegedly is the stage dad from hell. Apparently, he yells at David about his lack of talent regularly. A tirade during rehearsals supposedly brought David to tears and may have impacted his lackluster performance this week.
Jeff even is reported to have yelled at other contestants when his son was on Star Search in 2003.
