Ready for Hollywood
By Nathan Wade
| Tuesday, February 12, 2008, 08:16 AM
After tending to my teething toddler during a four-tooth-sprouting, fever- and pain-filled weekend, I am definitely ready for Hollywood week on ‘Idol.’
This week the field of 150+ will get narrowed to the 24 semi-finalists, and we will be able to begin voting. Hurray!
If you’re curious about the golden-ticketed Hollywood contestants, you can read basic profiles and see their original auditions at American Idol’s official web site. Then, you’ll know who you’re rooting for tonight.
Results of last week’s poll: You think Dallas had the best auditions. Dallas received two-thirds of the vote. Interestingly, Charleston, a city I thought produced the worst auditions ever, received the other third. Be sure to vote in this week’s poll!

I don’t care what anyone says, this is the best season of “American Idol” ever. I think there are some really good contestants who are being overlooked. During Hollywood Week, all you doubters will come around.
