Simon smacks down on San Diego
By Nathan Wade
| Wednesday, January 23, 2008, 12:59 PM
Simon, aside from letting Samantha’s sister sit on his lap during the audition, seemed back on form last night. Here is a sampling of his rejection offerings:
“I don’t think you’re as good as you think you are.”
“The only resemblance to Mariah Carey was Mariah Carey’s CD left out in the sun for one year and then trying to play it.”
“It looks like three different people dressed you today.”
“Does that sound good to you? Then the two of us are listening to different things.”
And my personal favorite:
“There is not a single person on planet Earth who would pay money to hear you sing.”
Ah, Smackdown!
