Big Brown’s Big Race
By Katie Croft

Big Brown’s big race is tomorrow. He is the race horse that is set to take the triple crown. I don’t pay much attention to horse racing, but this horse is fast and is set to win the three big horse races of the year. You can watch the race tomorrow evening on ABC. I think I’ll tune in, I’d like to see this horse run.
Also if you’re headed to Tornto this weekend, North America’s largest outdoor dog festival will also be there. It’s WOOFSTOCK! Check it out here.

Hey Katie…Huts for Mutts volunteers will be at Petsmart Stores in Killeen and Temple today (Saturday 6/7) with lots of adoptable dogs! This year the puppy season never ended for us, and we have lots of them. I encourage your readers to come check these little angels out and give them a home.
It’s sad. One newspaper editor in Gatesville says that HFM is not “relevant” to Coryell County. That’s strange since we’re located less than 10 miles fromt he Coryell County line and most of the puppies we have up for adoption today came from Coryell County.
