Really? A storm? I don’t think a drop even fell on downtown.

Yep the power was knocked out. Hewitt drive had flashing red and traffic was backed up. Not a single police officer assisting. But, as I took the back way in Hewitt, there sits a Woodway police officer looking for the occasional speeder on the back roads. Nice to see he was being fully utilized during a time needed.

You saw that same cop? In a hurry (which I admit I should NOT have been)-I was JUST fixing to kick it in the a**…then I saw HIM. Actually, glad he was there. With the downfall of rain, I didn’t need to be in a hurry.

Not the first time they’ve been where they need to be. Woodway is good about sitting where they can watch that intersection at Texas Central Pkwy. Don’t knock the Roller…keeps me in line.
