MCC students can get general studies degree at Tech
McLennan Community College and Texas Tech University have finalized their initial degree offering through MCC’s University Center.
The schools announced that a bachelor’s in general studies with emphasis in either English, biology or communications is available beginning in the fall semester.
MCC and Tech agreed to a partnership this spring that brings the presence of a major state university to MCC’s campus.
Including Tech, MCC’s University Center is now partnered with six Texas universities, including Tarleton State, UT-Arlington, UT-Brownsville, the UT Medical Branch-Galveston and Midwestern State University.

Before you comment, please take a few moments to make sure that what you're saying is civil and respectful. We don't tolerate personal attacks, insults, name-calling, impersonations or generally hateful comments — they don't make for a pleasant (or productive) conversation. We want to raise the level of debate and encourage a wide diversity of viewpoints — and that means disagreeing without being disagreeable. If you wouldn't say it to your grandmother, you probably shouldn't say it here.
