Election update: Early totals for La Vega ISD, city of Bellmead
Early voting numbers are just that, early numbers … but in the La Vega ISD race, incumbents Rodney Outlaw and Phil Bancale are in front as they hope to return to office. The top two vote-getters win.
Outlaw has 93 votes, Bancale received 69, and challenger Cody B. Beaird isn’t far behind with 61.
The early voting is more interesting in the Bellmead City Council race. The only contested race is for Precinct 5 and longtime councilman Russell Devorsky trails 45-32 to Doss Youngblood.
Again, these are just early numbers.
