Two men arrested for breaking into Waco’s Buzzard Billy’s restaurant
Two men were arrested for breaking into Buzzard Billy’s restaurant early Sunday. Matthew Bullard, 27, of Lacy-Lakeview, and Jermone Henderson, 26, of Waco, were caught by Waco police breaking into the restaurant shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday.
Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the restaurant, located at 100 N. Jack Kultgen Expressway, and found Bullard and Henderson inside. Bullard was taken to the hospital for a cut on his hand he had received while breaking a window on the north side of the building.
Bullard remains in the McLennan County Jail on a combined $30,000 bond for burglary of a habitation, assault family violence and interfering with an emergency phone call. He also faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
Henderson posted a $20,000 bond for burglary of a building.
